When I get ready to go after big whitetails, the first three things I grab are my rifle, binoculars, and my BOG-POD shooting sticks, and not necessarily in that order. I had just about as soon to leave my rifle or binoculars behind as my BOG-POD tripod! My rifle may a one-holer, but I’m not … unless I have my BOG-POD sticks to help steady me up for the all-critical shot!

My advantage in the woods is a BOG-POD tripod which is now always at my side. Regardless of where or what I hunt, I now make the following statement, “I’m a better hunter than I used to be, 'cause I use both eyes to look for game and to concentrate on movement. AND .... I always carry the perfect rest to help me make the first shot count, even in the most difficult situations!”

No matter what terrain I'm in, BOG-POD's Super Steady Combo helps me get rock solid quickly. The gear increases my confidence level big time and always helps me make a confident, steady shot!

BOG-POD shooting sticks are the best and sturdiest shooting sticks I've ever used! In addition, the interchangeable attachments really makes it easy for me to switch out my spotting scope for a number of rifle rests almost instantly!

I’m not known for being a good shoot. When I was growing up, my brothers and I put the hurt on the ground squirrels. My younger brother was flat-out deadly when shooting offhand, but the only way I had a reasonable chance at a well-placed bullet at those varmints was with a dead rest.

We all know hunting in the wide-open spaces of the West makes finding a dead rest a challenge. Many years ago, I started packing a tripod in my pack to solve this little problem. As most of you know, the marketplace is full of different makes and models of bipod and tripods - I will be the first to admit that I’ve tried most of them. The holy grail of shooting sticks for me is a set that's lightweight, easy to use, and not noisy.

After many years trying different bipods and tripods, I finally found the best one for my hunting style. Using it in the field last fall for over 100 days, I found it’s the ticket. I harvested this 81 B&C 15 tall buck in Wyoming last fall using the CLD-3 BOG-POD tripod. Had to make a 400 yard shot and the BOG-POD shooting stick made it happen. That hunt is coming up on the Eastmans' Hunting TV Show on Outdoor Channel. Check it out!

Shooting at longer distances out West is critical, and having a good solid rest is a must. That's why I always make sure my BOG-POD shooting sticks are close by. It's a definite game changer.

The BOG-POD TAC-3 tripod goes with me EVERYWHERE!! It is light and VERY functional as an alternate to the heavy tripods that I am sometimes forced to use. My shooting style is sort of a "on-the-run" approach so the lightweight of a support system is essential. With the easy, low profile capability coupled with the detachable USR, I can lay my long lens in it instantly and handhold the camera lens combo at reasonably low shutter speeds. I LOVE this tripod!

Whether I am hunting whitetails in Nebraska, Cape buff in Africa or grizzly in Alaska, one thing I never leave home without are my BOG-POD shooting sticks. You can work your hardest and do everything right to get yourself into position for that one shot that will make or break a hunt, but if you don't have a steady rest, you are taking a big gamble. When my BOG-POD shooting sticks are supporting my shot, I always have the confidence I need to make it happen. For those extra long shots, I have come to rely on the XSR attachment, as it makes me feel like I have a portable bench in the field. I have never shot off of anything in the field that is nearly as stable, and best of all it is completely portable.

I never carry unnecessary equipment, period! So if you see me carrying it, rest assured it is getting a workout. Right along with my favorite rifle, optics, and ammunition, BogPod shooting sticks have become part of my minimum required equipment on every hunt. No other piece of equipment serves me better along the entire adventure, from glassing, to spotting, shooting, trophy photo taking and even walking sticks for the pack out. The sticks with the red grips are a must have tool for every moment of the hunt.

I have used every bipod shooting stick on the market and BOG-POD shooting sticks work the best. They adjust to any length, and any condition, and that is critical when predator hunting.

While predator hunting the target I’m shooting at is often small. When on stand calling predators, I demand accuracy, steadiness, and a well placed shot. All three of these components can only be found in one amazing product, and that is the reason BOG-POD’S are my first and only choice to put more fur on the ground!

Don’t leave home without your camera and a BOG-POD®!

BOGgear tripods and bipods simplify life for wildlife photographers and ease the work load of back country photography. Best of all, because they can be very easily and quickly employed as a camera support, BOG-POD tripods greatly increase the odds of success in capturing unique and fleeting moments of wildlife action/interaction. BOG-POD users capture the action while others struggle with the slow and tedious deployment and manipulation of a pro-model camera tripod.

BOGgear shooting sticks are lightweight, superbly functional and super tough making them the perfect aid for photography in remote locations or for shooting from the roadside in a national park. I’ve hiked miles of wild lands using the BOD-POD as a walking stick and wading staff and of course a wonderfully adaptable and dependable camera support. My BOG-POD tripod is the envy of several Newfoundland moose hunting guides these days as well.

Camera/lens movement dampening technology such as Nikon’s VR; “Vibration Reduction and Canon’s IS; Image Stabilization free wildlife and action photographers from the necessity of a big bulky tripods. These lenses are perfect companions for BOD-POD tri-pods, bipods and monopods. Simply rest the lens in the universal shooting rest and fire away for sharper images - just as a rifle hunter uses shooting sticks to enhance accuracy.

Photographers can also utilize one of two strong and highly adjustable ball heads with quick-release plates that further simplify quick deployment and secure support. ( BOGgear's SCA and PCA ) These heads swivel so easily that I can easily track action and quickly respond to suddenly available photo opportunities or lock it down for a scenery or macro photo. The BOG-POD's photographer-friendly adjustability enables me to shoot from eye level or ground level for the perfect perspective of any subject.

My BOG-POD tripods are so easily portable, amazingly flexible and completely reliable that I rarely use my bulky professional-grade photographer’s tripod any more. They are so sufficiently affordable that we keep two, (a His and Hers), in each of our vehicles. The real proof of the BOG-POD’s value is that their use increases the number of “keeper” photographs from every shoot. We don’t leave home with out our BOG-POD's, we think you should do the same!

If there is a gun in one hand, there's a BOG-POD shooting stick in the other - plain and simple. BOG-POD shooting sticks not only give me the stability to make a good shot, but with the Switcheroo Shooting System I can use the same tripod for my spotting scope, camera, and binoculars!

Without a steady rest, even a tack-driving custom rifle is about as useless as a boat anchor on anything but a slam-dunk shot. Whether I'm stalking or sitting in a blind, I always look for a steady support. I prefer sticks with a tripod-legged platform for the most stable rest possible. I also like the U-shaped rest at the top of the BOG-POD shooting sticksand the fact that it rotates easily if the target animal is moving. I shot this Texas pronghorn at 180 yards using the BOG-POD RLD-3 tripod.

The hunting plains of Africa have been my office since 1999. My clients and I have traversed the Mountains, Grasslands, Savannahs and Mopane thickets of the Dark Continent in pursuit of Dangerous game and Plains game. The perfect shooting sticks have always eluded me. I have tried homemade and commercial versions and never succeeded in finding something that meets my every need. In 2009 I was introduced to the BOG-POD tripod and since have never looked back!

The BOG-POD shooting sticks have provided every aspect of the perfect pair of shooting sticks the African Professional Hunter needs! Durability and adjustability allow me to use them for every hunting situation, whether on the track in the thickets for Cape Buffalo or the open flat semi-arid regions of the Kalahari or Karoo in search of Gemsbok or Springbok, the “POD” will be in my grasp more so than my rifle.

The swivel head for 360 degrees of uninterrupted views, lightweight but durable aluminum and the option to change the length at any time with inch markers to assist are just a few points that separate these sticks from the rest. My first pair are still with me today and have lasted longer than any other type I have had. Thanks to the modular system should the rare event occur whereby a section of the sticks are damaged I will not have to discard them but rather just replace the part.

I am now able to place my Clients in a better position than before to make that perfect shot on that trophy of a lifetime and the days of flimsy plastic and wooden sticks are over. When I travel the first item into my bag are my BOG-POD sticks, adjustable for air travel, they have been tried and tested and, in my honest opinion, are the best available on the market today! Full Stop!!

Making a full-time living in the outdoors, I depend on the most durable, reliable gear to help get the job done. Sturdy, fast and easy to adjust, my collection of various BOG-POD shooting sticks and accessories have helped me and every member of my family take a range of big game, predators and varmints. For my youth-ages sons, they love the XSR and Red Legged Devil. My wife and I have had great success with a range of BOG-POD shooting sticks and adaptors. The best equipment gives me the advantage I need to harvest trophies like this. BOG-POD shooting sticks are designed for the serious hunter. No matter if your out with your rifle, muzzleloader, or bow you can find many uses for this incredible product. The Professional Camera Adapter (PCA) put this #4 stag steadily in my view with my Leica spotting scope. Thank you BOGgear for such incredible products!

Coyote hunting is fast action. Sometimes it’s a close shot and sometimes it’s a far shot, either way BOG-POD shooting sticks make it so I can accurately make the kill in the heat of the moment. As a youth hunter, I highly recommend the BOG-POD tri-pod (CLD-3S) to help control the muzzle and to provide a stable shooting platform that has enabled me to make those long shots when required.

I am not a hunter that enjoys sitting in a blind, trying to ambush game. I enjoy spotting and stalking big game and of course, calling predators...both techniques require a portable, steady rest. The swiveling head helps me adjust to the critter that shows up where I am not expecting and makes the difficult shot easy. The adjustable legs give me the ability to set up comfortably no matter the terrain.

Whether I'm shooting video and field producing an outdoor television show or hunting for myself.... I never go on a hunt without BOGgear's complete shooting system. It simply is the best, fastest and most effective shooting system there is on the market today. The BOG-POD tripods and monopods topped along with either there USR or PCA help me get steady and level fast so I can make the perfect shot whether it's with a video camera or rifle!

I had never used BOG-POD shooting sticks till one of our Pro Staff Darin Clifton introduced me to them. I can honestly say they are the best and have ever used hands down. They saved our hunt this past fall in Kansas when Darin and I had forgot the tripod for the camera and we used the BOG-POD tripod instead I ended up killing a Mid 130” Whitetail that nice with great footage. Thanks for BOG-POD shooting sticks. You guys Rock!!!!!!!

When hunting the incredible species found in the Canadian wilderness, you have to be able to adapt to any situation, terrain and weather. My BOG-POD shooting sticks are without a doubt one of the key tools in helping me adapt and take trophies of a life time hunt after hunt.

Over the years a quality shooting stick has become just as valuable to me as my rifle and binoculars. Seems like regardless of the amount of planning I did, many times the shot would come when shooting conditions were anything but ideal. So, when “real life” takes over my hunts, I already know from past experience that the stable shooting platform my sticks provide is a huge part of the answer. All the equipment works together as a seamless unit making me that much more successful. You really can’t leave home with them ... my choice hands down is BOG-POD Shooting Sticks!

Our filming of Trijicon's World Of Sports Afield TV takes us to big game destinations around the globe. Hunting for the camera demands kill sequences that are clean and ethical, which in turn requires steady shooting under a variety of real time, and often difficult hunting situations. Every shooter, from the experienced hunter to a Marine sniper, understands that their ability to shoot accurately starts with a solid shooting rest, and for our team that means the BOG-POD shooting system. From the now famous Red Legged Devil to the new XSR , the line up of BOG-POD shooting rests are the most functional shooting \ hunting rests you can put to work for you, PERIOD.
From whitetail in Texas, to leopard in Tanzania and all points in between, we count on BOG gear when all the travel, sweat and effort comes down to that one critical shot that will be the difference between a 'show in the can' or a expensive walk in the bush.

Olivia Nalos

I’m an international big game hunter who will take any kind of shot; close or far, uphill or downhill, standing, sitting or laying down. Because of the various shooting scenarios I find myself in, there is nothing better than BOG-POD shooting sticks. I won’t suggest a product unless I believe in it 100%, and this is an easy recommendation for me to make to many of my clients and professional hunters from around the world. From the durability of the product, to the adjustable legs to the swiveling rifle mount, a hunter WILL get the job done using BOG-POD shooting sticks!
